Well, I'm still sick. So sick, and I laid around so much today that now I don't feel ready to go sleep, though I know I need the rest. We missed our co-op class today. Was pretty bummed as it was the last one until January :( But I didn't want to share germs and wasn't feeling well enough to get there anyway. Paul has this now, and he won't stay home and rest, so I'm trying to get him to rest when he IS home....
The kids have been pretty good. Abby started this sickness and is completely fine now, Jacob started sounding off earlier but says he's fine...we'll see. They did tomorrow's schoolwork, since we don't do much more on Mondays other than co-op classes. So I had to readjust and add some things to their assignment notebooks. I thought about just giving them the day off, but we just took all of last week off! They didn't seem to mind, I think they liked getting back into a routine after the week off!
The tree service guys finally came and took down our large tree at the side of the house. Last Spring it kept brushing the house with the limbs, you could hear them scraping the roof, so the landlord had it trimmed. When they did that they said it was diseased and needed to come down because it was unsafe. It also has roots that are probably hitting in the foundation. I would never buy this house without having that checked out first! Jacob wanted so badly to go out and watch, but I was afraid of him getting in the way and the guys didn't need to worry about him. He did have a great view from the patio door though....
That's all I have for today. I should shut down and turn out all the lights, Paul never goes to bed unless I'm ready to go too, and he's dozing on the couch.....
